Cliff Karl has 30 years experience in design and manufacturing working for medical device, automotive and machine design companies . His experience includes hands on; mold processing, tool making, scientific molding, RJG implementation, injection mold sourcing, supplier audits, plastic disposable medical product design, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, tolerance analysis, electromechanical medical instrument design, machine design, fixture design, assembly line implementation, supplier quality engineering, CAPA, NCMR, 5S, 8D problem solving, design FMEA, process FMEA, IQ, OQ, and PQ. He has worked as the molding engineer from the corporate headquarters of fortune 500 companies during which time he traveled to many suppliers to solve problems.
In addition to his work in the USA, Cliff has a considerable amount of experience working in Mexico and living/working in China. His knowledge of the Chinese language facilitates effective interaction with engineers and operators while in China. Cliff has a Bachelor of Science and has progressed to roles as Tool Shop Manager, Molding Manager, Engineering Manager and Engineering Director.
He is currently based in city Cayce, South Corolina. At just five miles from the airport he can easily travel to your location as needed or work remotely for making your projects a success!
